Organization: North American PCB industry shipments in August increased by 15.1% year-on-year and 7.5% month-on-month

According to a report by evertiq on September 26, total North American PCB shipments in August 2022 increased by 15.1% compared to the same period last year. Shipments in August were up 7.5% compared to the previous month.
PCB year-to-date bookings were down 7.7% in August compared to last year. Bookings in August were up 12.7% from the previous month. The order-to-bill ratio was 0.98.
Shawn DuBravac, chief economist at IPC, said in a press release: “The PCB industry book-to-bill ratio was unchanged this month, but underlying data pointed to a slight improvement. Shipments improved significantly this month, with supply chain constraints easing somewhat. Consistent."
